Are Psychics Satanic or Evil In Nature?
You’ve just had a Tarot card reading and after mentioning it to your neighbor, you’re lambasted about the evils associated with the psychic world. You knew your neighbor was a religious sort, but his ranting has left you scratching your head in wonder. Did you just tap into the dark side?
Are you now in danger of being taken over by evil demons that will follow you throughout your life? Relax, your neighbor was just passing on old beliefs he may have learned in Sunday School 20 years ago.
The church seems to be the biggest opponent of psychic endeavors and have been since the first congregation gathered.
The reasons are many, but it may just boil down to bashing the competition. Not that a person can’t be a believer in both the church’s teachings and the power of psychics, but the two have been competing for a long time. Seeking out the assistance of someone who is able to foresee the future is generally seen as an innocent attempt to see what’s coming around the corner.
Some are born with the natural ability to read Tarot cards, for example. They don’t tap into the forces of evil during readings; they merely assist in locating a person’s inner knowledge. Many answers are waiting within us, but you may need the assistance of someone who can probe the inner-workings of the psyche and extract the desired information.
These thoughts are neither good nor evil, they are just thoughts. When a person frees themselves from restrictive beliefs and maintains a neutral stance during readings, desired information often flows freely from the subject with the aid of a Medium.
Specific concerns are usually brought up with a psychic, requiring specific answers to concerns. "Will my daughter marry her new boyfriend?" This is an example of a specific topic often taken to the psychic. Care must be taken when being specific, as our questions often don’t allow enough room for a full, accurate response. It is usually better to broaden our question, such as, "Will my daughter marry?"
The more open you are in your questions, the better the response will be.
Preconceived notions are a real detriment in learning the truth and it’s paramount that a seeker enters a reading with an open mind. Allowing the truth to come out, without the restraints of prejudice, is key to an accurate, complete answer. This of course is true in everything we do and psychic readings are no different.
Try to keep the focus on yourself when seeking out the help of a psychic. You can’t fix anyone else, so by focusing your attention on yourself, you provide the environment where the truth will do you the most good. Again, the truth is anything but evil, so any concern about tapping dark forces should be put aside in order to let nature provide you with the help you are looking for.
Satanic rituals are performed everyday in every continent. They are not about learning what the future brings, but rather are quite specific in nature.
Satanic rituals are real, but they have no connection with Tarot cards or psychic readings. Satanic worship is just that; worshipping Satan through a series of ritualistic acts. It isn’t some dark force that can be tapped accidently while enquiring about whether you’re going to be employed soon. The sooner you rid yourself of any fear otherwise, the better your life will be in general.
One belief commonly held by many religious factions, involves the pairing of anything that is not God-based, must be Satanic in nature. Of course, this means everything we do, other than worship God, is evil. Grocery shopping, working, exercising, playing with our children, would all come under the label of Satanic worshipping, under this definition.
Psychics are people just like you and I that were given a special gift. Psychics come all different backgrounds, countries and religions.
Of course, this is an unsubstantiated claim and helps to point out the inconsistency often present in the thinking of many people. The argument may be simply described as an attempt to keep people from learning other aspects of life that does not benefit the church.
Validation is one of the most common reasons that psychics are employed. A person has an intuitive feeling, or hunch, that something is about to happen, or has happened. When a psychic is sought for council, often it is just a second opinion that is desired. It helps to relieve doubt about a situation and build confidence to deal with it. With reinforcement from a second party, actions are easier to take and decisions come more quickly.
The loss of a loved one can be one of the most devastating times of a person’s life. Many things may have been left unsaid and the grief is unbearable. Not only is the deceased missed, those left behind often wonder if the loved one has moved on, or is still stuck in limbo. In these cases, readings are key to giving the grieving party closure, allowing them to move on with their own lives. Death is one of the most common reasons to seek the help of a psychic, often including the desire to contact the deceased.
Bible versus are often quoted by priests and pastors as proof that psychic readings are evil and must be avoided at all costs.
As is often the case when quoting the Bible, individual interpretations can blur the true message to conform to a pre-conceived notion. Of course this has been an ongoing debate since the beginning of time and will probably never stop. It’s the age-old rite of defending ones belief system and in turn denouncing another’s. This view often changes over time as a person’s beliefs change or new information is discovered.
Whether one’s curiosity about a certain subject steers them toward a psychic’s help or an event occurs that can’t be logically explained; the quest for knowledge and psychic guidance will be around as long as there are people on the earth. Concerns about a person’s fate or future are sometimes impossible to ignore and as long as there are unanswered questions, there will be a demand for psychic readings.
