Famous Maine Psychic Vicki Monroe Shares Her Predictions For 2013

Lewiston, ME. – So far, Vicki Monroe’s predictions about 2012 have been accurate. President Obama beat Mitt Romney for his second presidential term, and the Red Sox missed the World Series. Also, Maine got less snow than usual last winter, and the world did not end on December 21st, as many believed.

Because of her excellent record, the Sun Journal wanted to interview the Maine native again for her 2013 predictions. Monroe states that the 2012 predictions she made back in 2011 did not come from her but rather from her spirit guides. She describes her spirit guides as always there, talking in her ear. They’re here 24/7. It’s not my input; it’s theirs,” says the psychic. Monroe is not only a psychic but also a speaker and an author.

She has given readings for clients worldwide and has appeared on multiple television and radio shows. She has even helped police and investigators solve cold cases. The psychic states that her spirits see the fiscal cliff averted for 2013. They see gas prices as fair, Maine having more job opportunities, and something big being in store for Tom Cruise. “Top Gun II?” asks the interviewer. Nope, something even bigger,” she replies.

Her 2013 Predictions For The State of Maine And U.S. Affairs

Congress will negotiate a compromise to forestall the highly discussed fiscal cliff. The Republican Party will be more flexible and give more ground than the Democratic Party. Congress will also deal with the issue of gun control. “Automatic weapons and these high-powered rifles, semi-automatics that belong in war zones will be, I think, removed and only used in situations where they are absolutely necessary.

There’s no legitimate reason as far as what they say that these need to be at homes,” Monroe says. “There will be more questions and screening of mental illnesses during the background check for purchasing guns.” A different company will purchase and start the Hostess Brands plant in Biddeford, and Maine will see more environment-related employment.

“Manufacturing jobs should pick up as well,” says Monroe. “They [her spirit guides] think the state will become, in a year or two, a leading resource in jobs that promote trades, and that’s an excellent way to go. Trades always stay in business- plumbers, electricians, and welders. All those are big jobs; they’re just not big here. That’s what they’re saying: Those things should start to come about; we’ll be making things here [in Maine].”

Her Predictions For Maine Weather

She foresees less use of snow shovels. “From what I understand, it’s still going to be a milder-than-usual winter, although we’ll get more of a mixed precipitation,” she says. “The plow people won’t like me, but that’s the way it is.” She sees Maine residents spending less on their heating bills, and her spirits see the price of home heating oil and gas being lower as the economy improves.

More rain near Maine next summer and more fires out towards the West. “As far as New England, there could be a few more earthquake-type tremors that we’ve had. Nothing catastrophic. Unusually high tides will continue. It should be a mild summer.”

Sports And Medicine Predictions

Unfortunately, she will not be cheering for her home team. The New England Patriots will not be in the Super Bowl, and the Boston Red Sox will not make it to the World Series. There will be a link made between cancer and stress by researchers. In addition, there will be advanced news on the drug front. “There are certain medications, and things like that brought out this year that were trial drugs, and they will only target the areas of cancer without broader side effects,” said Monroe.

Hollywood Related Predictions

Her spirits do not see a “happily ever after” for recently engaged Kelly Clarkson and her fiancée. They see Justin Bieber making movies and Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert getting pregnant. “There was another one they were talking about, that Tom Cruise would leave the church, Scientology,” she says. She states it concerns his recent divorce from Katie Holmes and his young daughter.

She foresees people being very upset at the Academy Awards: Bradley Cooper will beat out Daniel Day-Lewis for best actor. Sally Field will win for best actress, and “Lincoln” will win for best picture. Quentin Tarantino will win for best director. When asked what Cooper would win best actor for, she was unsure.

She says fans will “maybe” be happy with the new Star Wars movies. “It’s murky,” she says. “Disney does have a great reputation, and they could do these new movies a great deal of justice. These will be better [than the last three]- that part they’ll [her spirit guides] say.” She tells the Sun Journal to expect 2013 to be a transition year. “That is always a good thing when we’re moving in a better direction.”
