If you were born in the year 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, or 2002, or if you are a believer in astrology and feng shui in general, this may be interesting to you; according to a geomancer, even though it is the Year of the Wooden Horse, it is predicted that 2014 will not be a worry and stress free year for Horses.
According to Joseph Chau, a feng shui master, individuals born in the Year of the Horse are “loyal, friendly, energetic, self-centered, subjective, charming, loyal, and independent.”
In his 2014 forecast, he advises them against attending any funerals or wakes for the entirety of 2014, and strongly suggests that they have an oral prophylaxis or blood test performed at the beginning of the year in order to “enhance their luck.”
“There are many unlucky stars that are gathered under their sign and present in their life cycle in 2014,” reads Chau’s forecast.
“More or less, they will be quite emotional and under stress at work. It is important that they know how to relax more and stay quiet for self-protection. On the other hand, they have to keep a low profile and be patient to avoid unnecessary rumors and jealousy.”
On a positive note however, his forecast also says that “horses will have a stable and satisfactory income, but they should still cut down their unnecessary expenditures and watch their expenses to avoid being over budget.”
Another plus side for Horses is that 2014 will be a romantic year for them. “Lovers should be patient with each other to reach a mutual understanding. Married Horses should keep away from temptation or they will face separation. They must be careful with the way they handle their relationship to avoid any conflict, especially in the lunar months of February, March, May, September, and December.”
Aside from the more specific instructions aimed exclusively towards Horses, Chau’s forecast sounds like really good advice for people in general. Advice such as “Pay special attention to road safety, stay away from sharp objects and beware of problems with the eyes, heart, high blood pressure, stroke, and cardiovascular system” can be helpful to practically everyone.
