Aspen, CO.- The family of a missing skier has consulted psychics to aid in his search. Along with ski patrol and volunteers, his family has been searching for him throughout the Aspen Highlands ski resort with no luck so far. The search for 55-year-old Jeff Walker, an Aspen resident, had been going on for three days in a row to no avail. They decided it was time for somebody with otherworldly abilities to help.
The Aspen Times reports that the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office and Mountain Rescue Aspen crew stopped searching for Walker on Monday night. Luckily the Aspen Highlands ski patrol has offered to keep the search going for him. “We’ve got some strong feelings that he’s still alive,” said Walker’s girlfriend, Liz Sathe. After the unsuccessful search efforts, Sathe said Walker’s family spoke to three psychics about helping them.
The Psychics Described The Terrain He May Be In
She states that the psychics gave the search crew information about what terrain he might be in. Searchers passed that information on to the Aspen Skiing Co. The landscape they described matches the last ski lift Walker checked in at. Jeff Hanie, the spokesman for the Ski Company, states that the patrol is considering every lead.
Volunteers teams even searched the “out of bounds” areas on the resort’s Maroon Bowl side on Wednesday with no luck. Though Walker wasn’t reported missing until Saturday evening, his last known location was at the base chairlift the previous Thursday. Searchers discovered this because of the scanning of his ski pass.
So far, the search consists of eight teams of search dogs, dozens of volunteers, law enforcement authorities, and a helicopter. It’s not uncommon for friends and family to call in psychics to help find missing persons.
