A self-proclaimed psychic in Spain named Lucia Martin DID foresee one thing correctly: She predicted a previous customer would be angry at her for a love spell and break into her house. This prediction came true last week when a former client broke into her home.
According to UPI.com, Spanish police arrested Jose Laparra last week for allegedly breaking into her house. He did this to get back the $212,000 he paid her for an unsuccessful love spell she performed for him. Laparra manages the very popular Spanish soccer team, Club Deportivo Castellon.
The New York Daily News reports that Laparra arrived at Martin’s house planning to force Martin to return his money. However, Martin foresaw his arrival and was already on the phone with authorities when he showed up with four men. The police responded quickly to the phone call and arrived at the house within minutes. They arrested Laparra and the four men he took with him.
As evidence in the upcoming court case, they also confiscated the money Martin had rolled into a newspaper. Laparra suffered from heart problems and an anxiety attack while the police arrested him. Authorities took him to a hospital in Zaragoza. He and his men were let out on bail the following day. According to El Mundo, Laparra is awaiting a different trial for his involvement in the Gurtel case, a business and political corruption scandal related to contract awards.
