About Oranum Psychics

Oranum relatively new to the United States, at least compared to the established companies like Psychic Source or Ask Now. They have been offering readings in their home country of Poland for many years however. Oranum is unique in that they only offer live webcam based readings.

Also known as “video chat.” Even if you don’t have a webcam you can still still see and hear your psychic. You simply speak to your psychic by typing your questions into a chat box.  If you do have a webcam and microphone you can speak directly to your psychic reader which speeds things up, and I thought it was pretty cool technology.

They have virtually no screening process for psychics though, and I have spotted some psychics on Oranum that were removed from other reputable psychic services so it is buyer beware at Oranum. They also don’t offer any sort of telephone based customer support so if you have a problem you will have to submit a form and hope they get back to you.

A phone number really should be a requirement for any legitimate business. I found their email customer support responded in less than an hour but there is nothing like being able to speak with a live person to get your problems resolved quickly. Overall Oranum has cool technology, but a poor screening process and poor customer support options.

They’re payment system is different as well. You purchase “credits” and spend those with psychics. Each psychic sets their own rate though so it becomes difficult to find out exactly how much money each psychic is charging. It’s just confusing, and unnecessary.

I assume this is by design so you don’t know how much you’re really spending on their service. This lack of transparency is really disappointing and why I don’t use Oranum personally.

Oranum’s has virtually no psychic screening process. They have a lot of good, quality psychics, but they will allow anyone to start giving readings which attracts a lot of criminals, frauds and scams.

I have seen psychics giving readings on Oranum that were previously kicked off other reputable psychic websites, so it is definitely buyer beware at Oranum. They do allow customers to leave reviews and ratings but I do not know if Oranum or the psychic themselves have the ability to remove negative reviews.

I really like Oranum’s website. It was easy to navigate and you can search and sort Psychics easily. You can watch a video from each psychic before you get a reading which is awesome! It lets you really get a feel for a psychic before you decide to contact them.

You can hear their voice, their reading style and really get a feel for their energy before you decide to spend money with them. You can view each psychic’s schedule as well as schedule a specific date and time for a reading with them. Overall the website is fast, easy to use and well laid out.

Oranum Customer Service

The lack of telephone support really bugs me. I believe any business should have a good telephone customer service number. Oranum does provide email customer support, and they replied fast but it’s just not the same as being able to pick up the phone and speak with a real person. If Oranum used their webcam technology for customer service I’d be really happy.

Their refund policy is also a mess. Some things are refundable, some aren’t and some you can get a credit on your account for. It’s confusing and to be honest it doesn’t feel like there is any money back guarantee at all. To be safe just expect any money you spend with Oranum is non-refundable.
