New Orleans, LA- Five astrologers met at a Tuesday convention to discuss the presidential election. They predicted that Barack Obama would win the vote in November and serve another four-year term as our president. When asked how they concluded that, they all replied that they primarily studied Obama and Romney’s celestial charts.
Some focused on the actual election date, and others focused on the date of the upcoming presidential inauguration. Nina Gryphon, an astrologer and corporate lawyer, is one of the astrologists involved. She advised that she based her prediction on studying Aries’s ingress. The ingress is when the Sun enters the sign of Aries. “It’s obvious, Obama stays where he is without a change in status,” she said.
About 1,500 people attended the conference, which took place in New Orleans. New Orleans is known for being the meeting place of some of the top astrologers in the world. The attendees participated in panel discussions along with workshops. Many confuse astronomy with astrology, but they are two different things. Astronomy is the scientific study of objects and matters outside the Earth’s atmosphere and their physical and chemical properties.
Astrology is the divination of the influences of the stars and planets on human affairs and terrestrial events due to their positions and aspects. Another one of the astrologers involved in this prediction was Chris Brennan. He stated that he made his prediction by focusing on the public profiles of both Obama and Romney and claims they are both “entering into peak periods of eminence in the next few months.”
There Are Some Big Differences Between Obama And Romney
However, he did note that there was a significant difference between the two. “Obama’s peak period stays consistent throughout the election, whereas Romney’s seems to falter a few weeks before the election.” The majority of the astrologists felt very confident in their prediction. However, some mentioned that Obama might face difficulties after re-election.
“The ingress of Saturn into Scorpio may trouble him. It won’t cost him the election, but it may indicate difficulties in the first half of his second term,” Brennan added. Although Brennan was unsure of the problem, he said it pertained to his career and reputation. Brennan also mentioned that he might revisit the highly debated 2000 election. “We should all be aware of the Mercury retrograde that will occur on election day,” he said.
He was referring to an optical illusion that could temporarily make the planet appear in a reverse direction. “Most astrologers are pretty certain that this could cause problems similar to what happened in the 2000 election.” By this, he referred to the highly debated Florida George W. Bush Vs. Al Gore. The Supreme Court finally settled it, ruling that Bush was the lawful president instead of Gore.
He also said that the retrograde implied the election is up in the air until later in the month. “It may not be over for Romney until the last week of November,” he says.
