Psychic Provides Valuable Clues In Murder Case Her Daughter’s Death

The mother of a vanished woman consulted a psychic to get clues about where her daughter was. Although she didn’t know it at the time, the consultation provided her with spot-on information. It turns out her daughter had been kidnapped, tortured, and murdered by a group of men. The psychic was able to know this information before anyone else.

A man named Colin Coats murdered Patricia Spence’s daughter, Lynda Spence. Before he killed her, though, he tortured, mutilated, and decapitated her. 27-year-old Lynda worked as an unregistered financial advisor with a record of shady and unethical deals. She went missing in April of 2011 after she crossed the wrong person.

She and Coats had made a deal. He gave her £85,000 for an illegal land deal, but Lynda took his money and tried to disappear with it. Coats recruited an accomplice named Phillip Wade to track her down and abduct her after learning his money had vanished. They took her to a flat, taped her to a chair, and tortured her.

It was all an attempt to get the money back. Either Lynda refused to cooperate and tell them where the money was, or she no longer had it, angering them. They cut off one of her thumbs and pinkie fingertip, crushing her toes with garden loppers, burning her hands with an iron, repeatedly battering her, and smashing her knees with a golf club. Her body is yet to be discovered.

Patricia Turned To Psychic Help When Police Failed Her

The police were not very helpful to Patricia; instead, they told her that Lynda was more than likely dead. That’s when she decided to get help from a psychic. One of the very first questions the psychic asked Patricia upon entering the room was, “Who’s been murdered?” This question took Patricia by surprise. If that wasn’t shocking enough, the psychic continued to astonish Patricia.

Especially when she gave her several horrific clues about her daughter’s disappearance, torture, and murder. Unfortunately, all this information turned out to be 100% accurate. “I couldn’t believe it, and I thought the psychic was talking nonsense, but she was spot-on. She was brilliant,” says 57-year-old Patricia. “All she knew in advance was my first name,” she adds. Patricia describes how the psychic entered a trance, and strange phrases emerged.

She said, “Severed body, nutcases, psychopath, drugs, police looking in the wrong direction, Ayrshire police involved.” Even though none of it made sense to her then, Patricia paid close attention to every word. She wrote it all down in hopes that it would be helpful to her at some point. It turns out the psychic was making a lot of sense, and it chills Patricia’s blood when she looks back at her notes now.

The Reading Soon Made A Whole Lot Of Sense

So what could all of the phrases coming from the psychic have meant?? “Severed body” more than likely refers to the fact that Coats dismembered Lynda’s body after he murdered her. The word “nutcases” is probably describing Coats and his accomplice Wade. Wade is currently serving life in prison with minimum terms equaling 63 years. During the trial, attendees heard evidence demonstrating Coats’ psychopathic tendencies.

When she said “drugs,” this could have referred to how Wade used to sell cocaine. It could also refer to Coats’ drug habits. “Ayrshire police involved” is an accurate statement because it was a known fact that police were investigating her daughter’s disappearance. During the investigation, police discovered Lynda’s cell phone in a dumpster in Kilbirnie.

They later found out that Coats and Wade tortured Lynda in a flat in West Kilbride. The psychic had a lot of information for Patricia; she told her that four people were involved in this, but three of them were terrified the whole time. Though it didn’t make sense to her at the time, she later learned during the trial that Wade and the other two people helping were afraid of Coats, which is why they went along with him- they were afraid of making him angry.

One of the last things the psychic told Patricia was a question. She asked her, “Who’s Paul?” Patricia didn’t have an answer for her because she had no idea. The psychic assured Patricia that she would know who he was before October was over. On October 31st, police arrested all four suspects. One of them was named Paul Smith.

Patricia Is Desperate For Closure

The trial heard about how Coats hired Smith and another man named David Parker to “babysit” Lynda at the flat while he was gone. Authorities dropped the murder charges they were facing, and they testified against Coats and Wade. The psychic also predicted this, according to Patricia. She asked her, “Who turned Queen’s evidence?” at one point during the reading.

Patricia was so amazed by this incredible psychic that she told the Daily Record her story. She disclosed that she was dying of cancer and begged Coats or Wade to please tell her where they disposed of her daughter’s body to give her a proper burial or funeral before she ran out of time. Though the psychic could not give Patricia the location of her daughter’s remains, she did give her some clues.

She mentioned her body being in the water and said something about a dirt track road. The court heard about how Coats and Wade attempted to borrow a boat after they killed Lynda during the trial. Patricia tried to share the information the psychic gave her with the police, but when interviewed, the psychic told them she could not remember what she said because she was in a trance.

The court sentenced Wade to a minimum of 30 years and Coats to life in prison with a minimum of 33 years. Smith and Parker admitted to the assault, and their sentence was 11 years in prison each.
