San Francisco, CA- Simon Cowell is proactive about his new Los Angeles home. He hasn’t experienced any activity that could be suspicious but believes in the “better safe than sorry” mentality. He decided to have a psychic perform an exorcism on it. He’s hoping that this way, he’s keeping negative energy from entering his home.
“I wasn’t trying to get rid of bad things, but I believe your home should be peaceful,” he said. I can only assume his houses in England and Spain have undergone similar treatments. It seems he was pleased with the psychic’s work by his remarks. “I have to say the house healer did a great job. I did it because if you believe something can make you happier, try it. Two people came around today and said the house felt different. So you never know,” he said.
During a house exorcism, healers wave herbs, crystals, and pendulums while they move from room to room. They do this to expel any negative energy that may be present anywhere in the house. In a process known as “dowsing,” healers shield the inhabitants from depression and insomnia. These two issues are common reasons people seek healers for their homes.
Cowell defended his decision to shell out money to a psychic for this service. He advised the critics of the successful week he’d just had “business-wise.” He also expects his new TV franchise to take off, increasing the business even more.
